A Piece of Home

So, last week I went to the post office to open my PO Box and find a key! You know what that means, right?! A package!? I opened to find TWO boxes! One from my swap buddy and one for my swap buddy.  LOL hers got returned...It went back out, though..Anyway, it was awesome! For those who don't know Im from AZ..I'm home sick...My swap buddy Missy (Hey, Missy!!) is from AZ and I asked her for a "piece" of it...She sent me some of the sand...I swear the smell after the rain in AZ is one like no other...(I wonder if I wet it, it will smell the same? lol)Ok... Enough about my dirt....I got an absolutely adorable little pinecone ornie in a cute little box and some Ferrer Rocher chocolates. Can't ever go wrong with that! I was VERY pleased. This is so much fun!! <3
Thanks, Val for hosting this for us!
Can't wait for the year to go on!
XOXO

When we had a P.O. box finding a key inside was the biggest thrill for everyone lol.

Looks like you opened a fun package!

I have never heard the term "key" used as a goodie in the P.O. Box. You learn something new everyday!

Isn't it funny how we can chat about dirt, and it's clean? lol! What a great package....

what a neat package....I love that you got sand :-) I know what it means to get something from somewhere you once lived.
As for the 'key' thing.....that is so funny...never heard of that!
