What I've been up to...
Hello fellow echanting crafters! I blogged about the ornament swap on my blog here if you MUST know what I've been up to (I don't have my own WIP pics yet though, I borrowed them, I hope that was okay.). Or you can check out the patterns I'm working on here and here. This swap gave me the perfect excuse to obtain these cute little creatures, create them and share them with someone else!! Of course, both patterns will have a special Christmas-ey twist to them. WHO will they go to?? WHO are they for?? And what special treat will accompany them?? I'm almost done and soon you shall see! (That is if I can get my camera and laptop to communicate better than they have been.)
on its way!!!
I actually had planned on making an embroidered felt bird but then changed my mind and made something a bit more elaborate...a spinner!
It's too long for the tree...best to be hung from the ceiling...

here it is 'spinning' away...it actually kept spinning while I was taking the photos, making it difficult to take them!!!!
one side

and the other...

you can't tell from the photos, but I added little dots of glitter on the letters which is pretty in the light.
To round out her package, I added a true forest occupant...a chocolate lady bug and some hot cocoa goodies!

Enchanted Friends
These are my little enchanted forest friends Christmas ornaments that I made for my partner. Can you guess what they are?
Notice the cute little ornamanet hangers they are hanging from. I made them for her too.
Even my wild holly trees in my enchanted forest were beginning to show their berries and made a cute place to hang them for their picture while they sport their little Santa hats.

Just some Things I've made.
Hello!
So I can never decide on anything so I always make a bunch and then try to pick the best one for my partner. So far this is what I have:
I made this little owl......and then realized when I was done, I forgot wings! So he's currently in surgery getting wings, but he will pretty much look the same!
This is a garden Gnome I made! I like him, but he's a little different. lol. Yes, my Christmas tree is up, and yes he is hanging on it until he's ready to be shipping out....if he does get shipped out, Im still deciding!
Let me know what you think!

I have been hard at work....
Woodland ornaments...mmmmmm, this one was kind of a challenge for me, but I jumped right into it...Here are a couple ornaments that I came up with....

Trees are woodland, right? Even though they are fabric selvadges, I thought they were pretty cute.....

Now I know these qualify for Woodland Oranaments....They are made from a tree limb that bf cut up into circles...Then I drew, painted, woodburned and ribboned them.(oh yeah, and glued...you can see it still drying)..Miss Val, one of these is yours for being such a good hostess and a mushroom lover to boot...Just send me your address.......What is everyone else making? Sneak peeks folks!!!!!
