Here comes Easter Bunny zombie . . . .

When I added the Easter Bunny on my list - I made the comment that the Easter Bunny is a little creepy anyway . . . this zombie Easter Bunny is creepy . . . and cute . . . and perfect!

Meet . . . Mrs. Cottontail!  Jeanne include this poem (sung to the tune of Here Comes Peter Cottontail.

Here come Mrs. Cotton tail,

Stumbling down the bunny trail,

Weaving, wheezing, off to ruin the day!

Eating every girl and boy.

Taking all their little toys.

That'll teach Peter NOT to roll in the hay!!!

She has bunny slippers . . . and carries a head with her.

I LOVE THIS ZOMBIE! . . . and all the wonderful tuck ins.

That skeleton rat is sitting on a box that opens like a book.

I believe the "Stay Weird" sign in the background is appropriate.

Thank you  Jill for the amazing Jack Frost Zombie. He is wonderful, not additional blood needed LOL He is perfect just as he is! Maybe the cute gene didn't completely skip me! 

Jill sent this adorable zombie (who knew those words could be said together) along with some really fun goodies.

 Val outdid herself yet again !!!

Look at this super cute Cupid - he gives me sweet hair model meets surfer dude vibes, and I couldn't love him more!!! That little leg flick he has going on - he's stolen my heart for sure.

Those who have ever been lucky enough to receive one of Val's zombies will also know that she is one talented poet!!! She has poem writing talent that I could only dream of having.

She spoilt me with the tuck ins she sent too. She indulged my Pioneer Woman obsession with some little bowls, some pretty wax paper (I haven't seen it before and can't wait to use it), and a skein of PW yarn which will be keeping my hands busy during my 9 hour flight coming up soon.

She also sent me some scissors - who ever can have enough of those, a cute pen, some recipe cards, and a pack of felt ... I love making felt ornaments for my tiered trays and holiday trees.

Flowers - one of life's pure joys for me, and when they're paired with a pretty little pitcher, well we're then talking perfection!! Val included this pretty little pitcher for me to fill and enjoy!!!

Thank you SO much Val for all my goodies - you brightened my day for sure!!! 

Thank you also for all the time and love you put into organizing our Zombie Swaps ... you really are the ZOMBIE QUEEN, and we appreciate you so very much.

Zombies CRASH "The Order of Legendary Figures" Board Meeting!!!

 Here is what we are swapping: 

1.)You will create one Legendary Figure themed zombie doll from your partner's choice list and then add 3 tuck ins (goodies) to round out the package.  

2.)The tuck ins can be handmade, purchased, thrifted, re-gifted, etc. as long as they are clean and undamaged. 

*Please check out the answers to your partner's list to help you out before getting the tuck ins!

3.)The doll needs to be handmade and at LEAST 6 inches in height/length.   I have approved premade blank doll forms which are available to use as a base but you must hand make all the details and elements that make it into a zombie.  I found some at Joann's and Hobby Lobby.  One swapper asked if she could alter a regular doll and again, I'm okay with it...but it must be a different creation from it's "former self."  (If you have questions, ask!)

This is a USA swap only.
The sign up by date is April 13th so I can announce partners the following weekend.  (I retain the right to close the swap early if I choose so please don't wait to join up.)

Ship date is June 1st!  Feel free to ship earlier but PLEASE ship no later than 6/1/24 because our FALL swap is announced in August!

Please note if an "angel" swap is needed for any reason other than crisis, that swapper will not be invited back.  An "angel" is someone other than the original partner who graciously steps in to fulfill the swap.

2. List of 3 favorite Legendary Figures for your partner to choose 1 character from.   

List of Legendary Figures are:  Tooth Fairy, Jack Frost, Santa Claus, Cupid, Baby New Year, Mother Nature, Father Time, The Grim Reaper, The Great Pumpkin, The Easter Bunny, Uncle Sam,  Leprechaun, Thanksgiving Turkey, The Sandman.  Most are considered icons for our major holidays, along with other icons associated with childhood.

3. Choose either "creepy" or "cute" style.

4. Small list of things you love to collect.

5. Small list of hobbies you need "supplies" for or to add to your "stash."

Please note:

My swaps are made to encourage creativity, not bust the bank.  That being said, your package should equate to a minimum of $30.00 before shipping.  

Please create a zombie doll that you feel certain your partner will adore and then wrap it up in tissue. 

Also, be careful when wrapping items for shipping so they don't get damaged.  No one wants a busted up Zombie package. 
When shipping, I suggest using tracking and make note of the date mailed.  If the doll does not arrive within 10 business days of shipping, you will be responsible for making and sending a NEW zombie doll package.
