AAK not RAK

I did an Anonymous Act of Kindness rather than a Random Act of Kindness.

There are several elderly who live in my Mother-in-law's neighborhood. I know that they are all on fixed incomes and they have pets. Pets are wonderful for the elderly. They provide love and companionship. And I know that many elderly have a hard time providing for those beloved companions, so I will periodically buy cat and dog food for these people. I will leave the food on the doorstep of the person, ring the doorbell and run! I know what varieties to buy by seeing the sacks sitting on the curb on trash day (I go in to take my MIL's trash out to the curb every week). It's not much but every little bit helps these days.

Jeanne, you are so nice! I love that you did that. I'm still trying to figure out an anonymous act. When I come up with it, I'll post.

I have a vision of you hauling a Santa sack filled with Alpo and Friskies, running from door to door, stacking cans and bags, ringing bells and hauling ass!

This is so much fun!

What a wonderful AAK! It is very hard for some elderly. Sometimes they have to decide whether to buy for their babies (pets) or themselves. Usually they buy for their furbabies.

That's so cute! And to ring the doorbell then run...does that make you feel like a kid again? What a neat idea though. :)
