Meet Virgil . . .

My package actually arrived a couple of days ago.  My son did not see my name on it and opened it by mistake and then set it aside . . . and then forgot to tell me.  The packaging had been removed and it was in a water bottle box. My granddaughter asked me whose water bottle it was and if she could have it.  I was confused as to where it came from - but told her to open it . . . inside was Virgil the Venus Flytrap  .  .  .  in all his vicious cuteness.  I LOVE HIM!  I will put all the cute goodies to good use.

Thank you  too for the other fun goodies you included. I have never heard of the Rose of Jericho - I’m excited to grow it. The chalkboard labels and stickers will be put to good use.

My pictures do not do this amazing creation justice. Anyone who works with yarn is so talented. But this, this is way above talent, this is art! How do you do that??? So cool. When I work with yarn, it usually ends up as a tangled mess so it gets turned into hair or a nest or something else that doesn't require skill or structure 😆 

Trisha included this beautiful ornament which was made by a friend and it is also wonderful.

Pat sent me a perilous pinecone ornament. It may be perilous but it's also endearing somehow! It even came wrapped in flower tissue paper. I'll be using the ribbon on ornaments for my Spooky tree and the paint pallets work great for underglaze in the pottery studio. Thank you Pat!

March's Spooky YOE Theme

 The "Winds of March be blowing" so with that in mind,  our next theme is

"Frightful Flyers!"

Think of anything that flies:  Ghosts, witches, evil fairies, cornish pixies, bats, ravens, owls....and what about those flying monkeys from OZ?  There are also vampires, gargoyles, dragons and thestrals.....oooo!  (But don't stop there, let your imagination take over and if you create something that doesn't fly....glue some wings on it!!!!  Then be sure to give your creation a name!)

You have until February 28th to join and the next day, I'll send out an email regarding partners!

Good news!   March is a 5 week month so ship date is March 25th
